The Client
Asia Johnson
Asia Johnson is a storyteller, writer, and filmmaker. She is also a 2019 Right of Return Fellow, 2019 Room Project Fellow, and a 2021 Brennan Center for Justice Fellow. Her work has been published by Feminist Formations, University of Michigan Press, Hamtramck Free School, and can be seen in several other anthologies. Asia’s debut film, Out of Place is being premiered in private screenings around the country, and most recently shown at The University of Michigan, The Springhill Arts Gathering, and The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The Problem

She came to me to create a personal portfolio so that she can showcase & monetize her work online. Over the course of 5 months I designed, developed, and made sure it connects with her CRM. It's built on Webflow so the editor mode the site handoff easy. Working with Asia has been a charm and I always enjoy consulting with her to create new SEO / content strategies.
My Solution

The site is currently live and under Asia's Control, we are often updating / replacing content with new videos, blogs, and photos. This project has been fun to work on, and especially when it comes to helping out charities, movements, or people I believe in.
